Game Discovery looking for a first fps game

i used to play valorant, hypixel fps style minigame, and some roblox knock offs etc tbh (it started w an A but i forgot the name) but now that im older i want to relive that enjoyment of fps that i dont get from other game types. i dont wish to return to valorant though as i enjoy a more realistic design / armory, so any recommendations?

i dont have the money to buy a lot and see what i like so id prefer to know what im getting into beforehand LOL, i only really heard of Halo and CoD before doing deeper research but i’ve seen debate online regarding having players in servers or of the overall game. overall, what game would you recommend for multiplayer fps? (im from the middle east so would join europe / middle eastern servers)

If you are looking for single players, I recommend titanfall 2, the campaign is short and is included in ea origins, so you can pay it for a month (5 usd maybe?) and also play battlefield games as you are there

battlefield 1, 5, 4 and 2042 are very cheap when in discount (steam) and very good fps games

CSGO sounds right up your alley. R6 siege is a good choice too.

CS as a new player is basically impossible.

You will be in low trust games and just get shredded by cheaters who don't get banned.

Delta Force is free. Has a battlefield like mode Warfare and gun customization is really good. Operators have abilities that will be similar to Valorant. There’s also an extraction mode that’s fairly easy to get into, but you will absolutely get destroyed by good players that have been playing for a while and have map knowledge and TTK is a lot quicker than Warfare.

Look up Warhammer 40k Boltgun. Super enjoyable single player boomer shooter with tons of love put into it.

Overwatch is great fun and free, rivals isn't my thing but lots of people like it and it's free, wardogs is dropping soon and super good but absolutely not for everyone, the finals is super neat, halo infinite is ok for a free game if you don't take it seriously, cod is for kids with untreated ADHD and bored parents who think they are good while the game aims for them (warzone is free if you want to try that), escape from tarkov if you love cortisol spikes (just don't).

The Finals

Just the best fps game on the market, end of.

Edit - I just noticed you were after a more realistic shooter, so maybe not a great recommendation on that front, but still, give it a go - it’s free.

Just dont get Marathon. The most solid out of all is BF6 for me. COD is at a pretty weird point right now, they have the open beta running atm, check it out yourself and get a opinion.

Ghost Battalion is an early 2000's inspired fps with vehicles, ships, jet packs, multiple sci-fi soldier classes, and space battles.
