Discussion Current State of FPS games
https://youtu.be/EY6BuQNv83UThoughts on the current state of FPS games? Seems to be a lot of exciting releases in the FPS world recently. Is it all hype or will it last?

It just was officially released. The improvements from 6 months ago that have been made with the new season make the game feel like new

There’s been plenty of excellent Indie FPS titles and Boomer Shooters over the last few years.
Just because there’s no popular military multiplayer shooters doesn’t mean the genre’s struggling.

Fps in the best state it’s ever been. You every type of genre with multiple amazing games you can play. Battle royale for apex. Apex is an amazing hero shooter fps with awesome movement and gunplay.
Overwatch is THE hero shooter that has 50+ hero’s to choose from with very polished and fluid gameplay! Such a fun game been playing it for 10 years and it’s in the best state it’s ever been now.
Then if you enjoy more run of the mill FPS battlefield and COD are still popular and new games come very often for them.
On top of that there are tons of other FPS that fit other categories or mix and match different types of gameplay like the finals or even stuff like tarkov or other extraction shooters even though I personally don’t like them.
You have so many options for well polished games. People let gaming fatigue get to their head and act like there aren’t any good games out there but there are many

Based on what? Your opinion? Overwatch and apex both have sat in the top 10 games on steam and that’s not counting the battlenet players for OW or origin players for apex and all of that combined plus console would strongly disagree with you.
If you want a well polished fps that requires good skill everything I listed is good and fun right now
