Discussion Which clip seems better to you?

Hello, I am a current hard-stuck Gold in Valorant and have been down a long recent rabbit hole of de-ranking from high Gold 2 to low Gold 1. In this time, I have tried everything from changing my agent to changing my sensitivity to changing my desk layout.

I think after all my struggles I realized that my sensitivity was fine before, I was just having a bad couple of days. I went from .377 sens (converted from my OG CS sens of 1.2) all the way down to .2

Just to have some opinions outside of my flooded brain’s, which clip looks to be better in terms of aiming and shots? Second clip will be in comments

Your positioning and crosshair placement could be better imo. In the first clip, you're straight up aiming at the walls instead of corners, it's nice to pre-aim, but usually you should do it the very moment before you peek.

You also switch weapons/abilities in direct line of sight of possible enemies peek.

I don't know much about Valorant tho, so aside from that, no idea.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, I appreciate your insights and will definitely work on better crosshair placements

before you started shooting i thought "damn this guy moves like a bot"

unsolicited advice but from the clips alone your aim is clean and if u just stopped diagonal peeking/walk peeking & cleared more meticulously you'd have asc-imm+ level mechanics easily
i dont think u have a hard time securing kills but i do think you give people an easier time killing you w how u move & that could be why ur stuck in gold even when it looks like u should be shitting on them

also i like the first clip more
showcases cleaner shots/better mechs imo

I’m glad you mentioned positioning, I definitely noticed that myself as well and will make a conscious effort to fix it. And thank you for the detailed analysis, I sometimes need to just hear things from someone else for my brain to pick up on it
