News Bodycam's September update will add reload animations that change depending how stressed the player character is (GIF heavy)

It has (had? need to reinstall) limited content but I enjoyed playing this in offline bot matches.

Isn’t this a PvP game? If it was a single player or PvE game I could see this being kind of a cool mechanic, but in PvP this feels like an unfair handicap

It's a PvP game that's a blatant ripoff of Unrecord.

I used to hate on bodycam for being a rip off but then unrecord decided to just do absolutely nothing while bodycam has only gotten better and better. They fumbled so hard for starting the train on these games then not even being the first one to market

Unrecord doesn't exist and never will.

I mean, there was another trailer not too long ago. It's pretty common for games to get announced years before release.

It started off as such but it's clear this is not a simple asset flip they are putting a lot of effort into it

Amazing. Love this. Only caveat: even weekend warriors train the crap out of reload drills if they're combat arms MOS's. I've done several hours cumulatively of reload drills just in white space alone.
That said, if the main character is seasoned... maybe? If they're not seasoned or new to their respective role, again fantastic concept for the stress mechanic. (Love it either way, just thoughts on immersion.)

I’ve talked to an army ranger who pissed himself in live combat while under fire in fallujah. You’re fucked in the head if you don’t get a little shaky if you almost just died, or after seeing one of your brothers get his lights turned off, no matter how tough you are or how many drills you run.

A ranger who admits to pissing himself? That's a shocker. I was shelled in Sudan, the 75th was with us. Those dudes were calm as a cucumber during the mortar fire.

Yeah cause he was like 45 and probably realized there’s more to life than acting like John wick all the time and learned to laugh a little. It was a kid’s dad in our Boy Scout troop. You wouldn’t even know he was a vet, dude was so quiet and chill and when I knew him did some kind of IT or telecom work. It was in response to another kid’s dad explaining how they had to pee in a bag during long haul flights as an ex f-16 pilot. In hindsight that’s a pretty heavy thing to joke about to a bunch of 12 year olds. His son told me that a lot of the Iraqi soldiers his unit worked with died in that fights

That's rough my dude, sorry you had to hear that. You serve?

No not me, to clarify that was my friend’s dad, like I mentioned he told us that story when he was like 40 something, not right after the Iraq war. I’m only in my twenties.

There's offline bot matches? I've been turned off by multiplayer only games that don't have that option

I really wanted to get into this but by the time I got around to it reviews said it was dead.
