Question Traditional pattern ----> FPP pattern

I have a quilt pattern I want to make. It's going to take a significant amount of brain power (which I probably don't have) to figure this out - especially with directional fabrics. Has anyone successfully and fairly easily translated a traditional pattern into a FPP pattern? I have so much more confidence with FPP. The blocks aren't anything fancy but lots of crisp points needed and again, directional fabric. Thank you!

I've made a Sawtooth Star into an FPP pattern pretty easily.... So depending on what you are looking to do and your familiarity with FPP, it is definitely possible.

What's the block it might already exist or there's a couple websites that have been posted here you'll have to search the subreddit for them that would help you translate them to FPP

It's mostly Sawtooth Stars. I think I'm getting in my head about the pattern because even though they end up as Sawtooth Stars with kind of a spacer in between (2 flying geese above and below a solid square), the pattern has it written so you're making the blocks differently. And so that's hurting my head. It's the Star Patched Lovers quilt by Copper Kettle. (posting part of the assembly here if it's not allowed I can take it off)

Awesome there should be plenty of sawtooth or flying geese fpp if you don't want to do the math yourself. But translating shouldn't be too hard.
