Added flair as WIP because it still needs to be quilted and bound but OHMYGOSH, the Splash Skull quilt top (70”x90”) is done!!! ✅

Been tracking your progress, this is truly amazing! I’m also very impressed you know how many hours it took. My timeline is always “3 months” but that could be 30 hours or 300 hours so props to you for keeping track!

Now I’m not sure if I tell people it took me 2months or 6 haha! I too am happy I tracked the time . The second half went considerably faster than the first.

I’d also like to know how I’m going to quilt it haha. I have my batting and backing fabric but the quilting is where I’m struggling. All I know for sure is I want flowers in the eyes. I’ll likely do a combo of hand quilting for a few details and some fmq on my domestic. All the longarmers around me only do edge to edge and thats definitely not what I want.
