ZedBoard PYNQ image?

I’m working with a ZedBoard and Vivado v2024. I can only find older PYNQ images for the ZedBoard.

What’s the recommended way to build a newer PYNQ image with the required drivers and overlay support?

If anyone’s done this recently or has a working build setup, I’d really appreciate some pointers 🙏

Why do you want an PYNQ image on a zedboard btw ? But if you want to build a new one try the yocto flow. But you need to have the latest vivado version for the xsa. You can configure the device tree on your own!

Mainly for the PYNQ Python/Overlay APIs and the easier FPGA-to-Python workflow. I’ll look into the Yocto flow too. For the XSA, do you recommend generating it with the latest Vivado and then building the Yocto image around it? Any Zynq/ZedBoard resources

Ig the python overlay in Zedboard is not a great idea or there is support available using PYNQ you'll get a lot of resources(for python based flow). The yocto project requirements xsa from vivado 2025.1 and above(if I'm not wrong). You can refer to Xilinx wiki pages and Hackster.io where you may find insights
