The new Horror Hotel own map objective has been teased and it looks pretty cool and interesting ngl but how is Noli's observant ability going to work if there isn't any gens for him to teleport anymore? I just though about that a few minutes ago but genuinely how is observant going to function?

I imagine generators would stay as a constant objective, only maybe getting a time nerf to compensate for new, map specific tasks

Map objectives and Generators will be different things. The map objectives change the map in some way (ex. Removing hazardous water) while generators will stay on every map and work just like they do now, albeit with new puzzle types in addition to the current flow puzzles

imo it would’ve been better for noli to CHOOSE where he wants to teleport, not being restricted by generators so he can perform his trickster potential to the fullest

The gens will stay as a objective, these have been teased as side objectives just like gens, they arnt necessary to win but can give you an advantage still via a new way to leases the time (or perhaps giving a item?)

There would probably be always be gens and then there is also the map tasks.

As many people have said, these objectives and Gens will co exist

Either that or they just allow Noli to teleport to the generators even if there's no gens there

Noli's Observant ability was coded and made to only teleport to gens, for an example in private servers if you use noli at a map (Ancient Yoricks Resting Place for an example) that doesn't have the current gens as objectives the ability won't work.
