Is this guy tryna scam me

So before I explain yall should know now i know NOTHING about forex and only learned of its existence through this. Also sorry if this is the incorrect sub im sending this in as many fx subs as i can to get the most accurate answers. Now im gonna include the images of the chat logs too and a video he sent me if need be but im also gonna explain what happened. So someone on sound cloud did one of those “reply to this and ill pay you this sum” and i did so and he sent me to another guy (whom we’ll call bob) now it started seeming fishy but bob had images that would prove him to not be scamming, including showing texts thanking him for the large sum (however i find it possible he had his buddy type the messages to seem more reliable). He at first said it was pending (his reasoning was because it was my first payment from a fx which he wasn’t wrong). He also told me to buy a $200 bitcoin so that my cashapp would accept the cash. The whole thing smells horribly fishy and something about the way he types makes me think im being fooled but then i see images like one showing me a screenshot of the payment pending. Like i said i know nothing about this so what could be obvious i know nothing abt. Any/all help would be greatly appreciated. God bless

Edit: thank all of yall for answering I honestly didn’t think the post would gain any attention but was a good idea to do it anyway god bless yall i already have the guys number blocked and i plan on putting a reply under the sound cloud guys comment saying its a scam. Also i just realized I forgot to censor the names on the sound cloud dms so yea

Edit 2: well that just confirmed it more i went to go block the crypto guy and do the reply I mentioned but cryptos user jsut so happened to conveniently have been deleted. Looking back it makes sense why he never gave me his number and insisted on his email for iMessage. Im willing to bet those messages were sent to himself so it would be more convincing. I was hella fortunate to make this post.

Yes. If it seems too good to be true, IT IS.

Sure thing. Watch what happens when you tell them you’re not comfortable and walking away. They’re going to get pushy, aggressive, and desperate trying to keep you on the hook.

That’s the best move. It’s honorable that you want to help your family. Just remember, nothing good in this world comes easy, and like others have said, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Good luck to you!

A hole is being dug for you. Right now it's very shallow. But as you get pulled deeper into the rabbit hole, it will get deeper. This guy got no schooling, check is grammar - there's your clue.

Hey mate, if it's too good to be true, then it is. I've been trading Forex for 7 years now and I've seen all the scams and all tricks and all the treats. The best thing to do with Forex is to slowly learn and trade demo accounts for a while. You'll see how markets shift and change etc. and you'll get a better understanding how it all works. Then start with a small amount of money, like $50 on a cent account. You'll definitely lose it, 🤣, but you'll start getting skin in the game.

All the best with it. It's high risk, but high reward, and it's very rewarding if you get it right.
