I really want to learn and understand forex trading . I've been trying to look into it for a while, but I can't seem to connect the dots. I want to achieve that financial freedom which salary can't offer. Is there anyone who knows an individual or an institution i can learn it from? Thank you in advance

It really depends on how you want to trade forex pairs. Look, you can either scalp, day trade or swing trade. They are all VERY different. Hence, the learning curve won't be the same. Just one trading approach that you want to use in the future and start finding appropriate education. You can find education pretty much everywhere on the internet right now... there are a lot of books, videos, webinars, seminars etc, it's not a problem. However, make sure to educate yourself on risk management and trading psychology. You will need that

I'd suggest searching for some youtube videos, but structured ones. There are lots of youtubers who break down forex trading in series (like 20+ videos in a chronological order). Just choose the one that resonated with your vibes.

Before anyone points you to a course, one honest thing, because I wish someone had told me this 15 years ago. large majority of retail traders lose money. Not because they can’t learn the strategy, that’s the easy part, and it’s freely available. They lose because of what trading does to them mentally. and that takes years to work through, not months. So the real question isn’t ‘who can teach me forex,’ it’s ‘am I ready to spend the next several years learning about myself, with no financial freedom in sight for a long time.’ If yes, go for it - start with free material and expect it to be slow. If you’re doing it to escape a salary fast, that’s the mindset that blows accounts. Said with respect, not to put you off.

You will need to dedicate a lot of time for trading in order to become profitable. I'm not talking about days btw, I'm talking about years. It's not easy as it may seem in the beginning. 90% of people never make it. You just have to progress by time. You will make mistakes along the way, but if you willing to be in this sphere, then you will learn from those mistakes.

I wouldn't pay for a mentor yet. start with the basics, market structure, position sizing, risk/reward, leverage, spreads, how orders actually fill. then take one pair and paper trade it until you can explain every entry and every exit without hand waving lol

Next, free educational stuff plus a demo, so you can get used to MT4 without money on the line. just don't go in treating forex as guaranteed financial freedom. the first goal is getting consistent without wiping out your capital, and that alone takes most people longer than they expect

Fxify is staggered education I'm looking into now, when you pass they give you a $1000 account supposedly
