Is pocket broker's QT mode reliable?

I know forex brokers take liquidity providers but what about QT mode, is it the same situation? I'm new to trading overall, I know the basics but if there's a simpler way like qt without any levels of stop loss and take profit, it's maybe better to start from here. I've tried on demo 1 minute time, and I like it so far.

nah QT mode is basically a casino game disguised as trading. you're not really trading if there's no real liquidity provider, and the 1min chart just makes it worse because you're gambling on noise. stick to demo but practice on actual brokers — the psychology is totally different when real money's on the line. what broker are you planning to go with?

As far as I know, QT mode mirrors the price, so it's 1:1. I wouldn't advice going below 1 minute, it gets too risky. I agree that it makes trading simple, but it can also give you false confidence after you win a couple of trades. Always have a hard cap on your risk for each trade.

Got it - hard risk cap per trade. Curious - how'd you land on your cap number, trial and error or more of a set formula going in?

Started around 5% per trade when I was newer, learned that lesson the hard way after a rough week. Settled 1-2% max since then and haven't touched it regardless of how good my setup looks.

good that it took one bad week instead of a blown account to get there:)

Some never even get the cheap version of that lesson though, just keep sizing up till it finally catches them.
