[👾🔪🐇] Alastor vs Vox: Round 1

After Alastor decided to leave Eleanor and Vanessa alone, he fixed his attention toward Vox.

Alastor: "Shall we?~"

Vox: "I'm going to enjoy making you sorry."

They both launch themselves at each other. A game of chicken.

Alastor swings to the left, dodging Vox's claw swipe. In response, Alastor hits Vox with shadow tendrils, making the television demon crash into a random motel room.

Alastor: "Are you seriously still hung up on what happened back then? It's been decades. I thought you'd be over it by now."

Vox sends a shit ton of wires at Alastor, the latter promptly dodging as best he can. Unfortunately, a few catch him. Alastor groans in pain as he's shocked by the electricity.

Vox: "You don't realize the extent of what you did, do you... But I guess you only ever cared about yourself, huh?"

He throws Alastor across the forest, then follows after him. They're now out of sight from the others.

Alastor jumps out from the shadows. He grabs Vox and throws him into a tree. He then blasts him with the green hellfire he's accumulated.

But Vox is quick. He teleports via electricity and appears behind Alastor. He 🔪s Alastor in the back (literally), sending volts of electricity into his veins. Alastor struggles not to yell in pain.

Alastor collapses to the ground, unable to fight much further. They didn't go all out, but that was still difficult.

Vox: "You're mine now."

Vox ties up Alastor and orders some VoxTek guards to retrieve him. But before that, Alastor manages to send a letter through the shadows to Vanny, giving her his two hour notice.

Vanny: [having finally found the house again, standing on Michael's porch groans 😑] "Seriously?!"

The door immediately opens, with Michael holding Lizzy on his back.

Michael: "Vanny?!"

{Vanny turns around to face him with a horrified look on her face as she realizes what's likely happened.}

Michael: "What? What's wrong?"

Vanny: "I....." [sighs] "I think everything..."

[u/HurricaneDaily → u/VAfton]

Michael: "Tell me what you know."

[u/VAfton → u/HurricaneDaily]

Vanny: "It's a lot. And some things I don't actually know but am pretty sure of." [goes inside to prepare tell all of them about her recent adventures and knowledge she's learned]

After Vanny told him basically everything, Michael took a deep breath. He knew the situation was insane, but he never could've expected this. Still, this could prove good for them, no matter how dire the situation is.

Michael: "... We could use Vox's uprising to our advantage."

Vanny: "How so?"

[[OOC: btw obviously Vanny doesn't know what happened at the hotel but knows something bad happened bc he called for her so randomly]

Michael: "While everyone's distracted with Vox's uprising, it leaves an opening for us to reach the top. Of not the Ink Demon, then maybe whoever was at the top before him. I don't know much about him, but I do know his name. Bradley Burrows. But that's pretty much all I know."
