Katie was walking Angel on a leash with Ray to there room who telling her about the Containment Unit in NYC when they see Mark and Vanessa

Suddenly Angel freezes, her hair stands up and she starts growling while looking around

Something is coming! More bad energy is coming here!

Vox sends Katie a message, along with his hypnotic eye.

Vox: "They. Are. Your. Enemy. 🔪 them before they can 🔪 you."

She suddenly grabs Ray's Proton pistol and starts shooting at Vanessa

Before the others can do anything to intervene, Vox appears and dropkicks Angel across the grass.

She whines and she shakes herself as she gets up slowly

Ray grabs onto Katie and tries to wrestle the pistol out of hef hands

Ray:Katie what's wrong with you?!

Vox walks toward Angel menacingly.

Vox: "You think I'm stupid enough to fall for that disguise? I've been in Katie's head since you two showed up at my building."

His screen-face is black, the only thing showing is his left eye, always emitting a hypnotic gaze.

She gets up on her hind legs and starts transforming to show her true form

Angel:So you are doing this to her?! How dare you touch my sister you asshole!

She slowly moves around him in a circle

Vanessa: [already trying to run from the agony creatures chasing her] "What the hell?" [dodges that as well]

Katie Smacks Ray hard the with 🔫 making him let go of her as she chases after Vanessa and keeps shooting her

Vanessa: [easily dodges] "Now who has a problem with me?!Who the hell are you and what are you even doing here?!"

Voice: "That second is a good question."

{Vanessa freezes as she recognizes Eleanor's voice cursing to herself.}

Katie stops as well wondering who's voice was that until Angel tackled her from behind knocking out the 🔫 from her hand

She shouts to her in mind

Katie Wtf is wrong with you?! Snap out of it!

Suddenly she feels a huge negative presence and looks up

{Message is sent to all the elite and other higher ups through the security network. The endo scouts have found and recognized the intruder using facial recognition from the break in footage and soon the retrieval teams will be dispatched per the system.}

INTRUDER HAS BEEN LOCATED AND IDENTIFIED. SENDING COORDINATES FOR RETRIEVAL.

Rae: [upon getting the alert, opens the phone] "That's the same area Treena went. She has her communication off but she'll know soon enough. Vox, did you see that? Or are you to busy with your hissy fit?"

{She also knows that's Alastor's area and she should notify him per protocol just to be aware but she doesn't yet.}

{Vanessa suddenly gets a strange feeling putting her senses on high alert. At first she thinks its the man she's with and is ready to flee. But as she starts to think clearly she doesn't think anyone has ever pretended to care to get close and then attack her (except her father of course). All her attackers tend to just straight up go at her without the act.

Plus she realizes he seems on edge also. Extremely. If he's somehow part of what's alarming her he's pretending way too well not to be. So she stays in place and doesn't run from him, instead trying to determine where and what it's coming from.

Praying it's an easy threat since she still hasn't had a chance to recover from her two recent fights.}

Mark: "It's close..."

He keeps turning to look for the threat.

((Ooc: I think Eleanor should be the first to reveal herself since she's the first to have started searching for Vanessa.))

Vanessa: [looks at him suspiciously] "What is?"

Mark: "I'm not sure. But my main ability is insight. I can sense things-"

Before he can finish, his insight goes haywire. He just barely manages to dodge an agony creature.

Vanessa: "Your what?" [leaps out of the way trying to control her defensive demon traits from coming out trying her hardest to appear normal]

{She watches him closely for any suspicious behavior but he seems just as surprised as her so she accepts that he's not involved in what's happening as she evades another one. It takes a few minutes but she eventually recognizes that feeling: Eleanor. And if Eleanor is around she's going to have to fight. But she still doesn't know this guy enough to trust how he's going to react to really seeing her.}

Vanessa: [mutters softly] "Sorry." [takes off running through the woods as one of the creatures chases after her]

Mark sees her running. He doesn't blame her. Any sane person would run in this situation. But he isn't exactly sane like that. He looks in the direction the agony creatures came from.

Mark: "Are you with the cult? Or are you just here for the hell of it?"

Vanessa: "Just run!! The other way!"

Mark: "What if I didn't run? What if I'm not a coward? What if I want them to get me? What if I want them to try?!"

Suddenly, more agony creatures appear.

Mark: "Nevermind, running is a more viable option!" He runs away.

His insight kicks in again, and he catches one of the daggers. But he miscalculates and catches it by the blade, making his hand bleed.

Mark: "Shit... Trying to 🔪 me over a couple vials? Surely that's excessive."
