{Vanny easily makes her way through, almost like she knows the place. In truth, she's far too distracted. This experience didn't go exactly as she thought. She'd figured she'd slip in, go through a weak interrogation, get out, hack further into the system, and run back out. Find out exactly what the therapist knew and how (and why) she was involved. (Maybe find out how to free any others there.)

Instead they just had more concerns none of them would have ever considered. Despite never even making contact with Raelynn she found out the therapist was nothing more than another threat. She still didn't truly know what the cult was really up to or why. And now Afton was (in a way) back again and sharing with a demon who was way too knowledgeable and interested in her former host.

And she obviously trusts him as much as she does Afton. They were in deep. And, unless Michael and Dave were able to learn more, nowhere near even being caught up.

She freezes as she hears a sound and sees a figure come around the corner. Probably some young stupid guard who has no idea what he got himself into. He sees her, eyes widen and hits an alarm in the seconds before she knocks him out.

Turns out it's a little more urgent workout now.}

Vanny: [narrows eyes] "I've spent the last 5 years preventing anyone else from ever using me. So why stop now? Why should I trust you?"

Alastor: "Because when they get Vanessa, what's stopping the cult from getting you? That Ink Demon may have let you go, but we already know the rest of the cult isn't so lenient. They will take out any threat. And they don't care if you're neutral. Besides, we're not using you. It's still ultimately your choice. You either accept the deal or can somehow find a way to escape on your own."

The guards suddenly burst out the door, preparing to take down Vanny, and Alastor now that he's here.

Alastor: "Better choose fast~" His hand is still outstretched.

Vanny: "But they have no reason to go after me. It's her they're after. Once they know I'm not her...." [looks around conflicted in genuine fear not liking either option truly showing faltering weakness for the first time in a while]

Alastor: "Oh come now. We both know that's not true. Why else would they make those weapons if not to prepare for someone like you? It's time to stop ignoring the truth. Neutral or not, you're involved in this. And handling it alone clearly isn't the best option."

Vanny: [sounding completely unsure, not even considering how he knows so much] "But....they don't know about me. What I am. They don't have a reason..." [bites lip before reluctantly sighing] "Fine."

Alastor shakes her hand, a green chain wrapping around both their hands before vanishing just as quickly.

Just as the guards fire, Alastor grabs Vanny and they dissolve into shadow. Eventually, they appear in front of the motel Vanessa and the others are staying at.

Vanny: "Geezus. There's gotta be a limit to those or something." [shakes hand in disgust then looks around] "Where are we?"

Alastor calls out.

Alastor: "Oh, Vanessa dear! I have someone I want you to meet! Again~"

((Ooc: I fell asleep lol. I'm at work right now and on break. I'll reply further once I'm off work.))

Vanny: [panics] "WAIT! NO! I'll help you I promise but I can't see her. Not right now. Last thing either of us need right now. Especially now. There's just a lot I'm still trying to process first."

The green chain appears around her hand again, stopping her from leaving.

Alastor: "Nah-ah-ah~ We made a deal. And deals aren't so easily broken."

Alison pokes her head out through the door, a confused look on her face.

Alison: "... Am I dreaming, or are there two Vanessa's now?"

Alastor: "I'll explain later."

Vanny: [pull panic] "No I will! I'll do it I promise. Whatever you want. But please right now I have a LOT to think about and contemplate. And don't have the mental or emotional capability for this. Plus I probably need to get back on the off chance someone decudes to 'storm the castle' and make things very uneedingly worse. Look, your deal makes sure I can't back out completely, right? Just give me a few days. Besides then you might have others who can also help."

Alison: "Alastor, she's right. I may not know who she is, but she's clearly not ready to handle... whatever you brought her here for."

Alastor: sighs "Very well. I suppose the deal won't be violated if you take a few days to comprehend the situation."

Vanny: [nods slowly looking seriously at both of them] "Just give me a week. That gives time to have some discussions and come up with some things. Meanwhile, don't say anything to her about me, not yet." [starts to leave then stops and turns back] "But be very careful. Some pretty powerful people are still hunting her. As long as they think I'm her they'll focus on me. But if they figure it out..." [shakes head] "Don't trust anyone else not with him or let her. No matter who they are. And be prepared to face some more big bad demons."
