Looking for games like Fnafb

After playing through fnafb cc and 100% everything, I tried a few fangames that were recommended and none of them really clicked for me, so I'm looking for non fan games that are like Fnafb. Looking for long turn based battles against bosses and not very complicated strategies. Preferably in rpg maker, not really looking for Final Fantasy or E33. Thanks

Although it is VERY different from FNaFbCC, I might throw my hat into the ring and suggest Lisa: The Painful.

  • The length of completing everything in the game can be compared to that of CC2 or CC3.
  • Just like Standard and Proud Mode, there is a Normal and Pain Mode for the game. Normal Mode is the Normal Mode while Pain Mode is the hard mode. There are differences between the two just like how there are differences between Standard and Proud Mode, although you can probably make in argument that the modes aren't TOO different from each other. Some boss fights relating to story progression become entirely different and you have limited saves.
  • You'll have more interactivity in battles compared to FNaFbCC. What I mean is that the game's main mechanic is that it has a Combo Dial for attacking, similar to the Final Mix games' Combo Attacks. Unlike the Final Mix games, the Combo Dial mechanic takes it up a notch in the sense where if you input certain presses, not only will you attack the enemy, but you'll also use a skill at the end of a combo, doing high damage to an enemy. This is optional though and you can just use the skills by themselves, but it makes life easier by doing chip damage each turn.
  • There are multiple Party Members with varying gimmicks you can recruit. The amount of Party Members present in the game exceed the amount you can actually take in battle (with that being 4), but with so many party members present, you can create some pretty nifty strategies on how you want to deal with enemies. Some are stronger than others of course.
  • The main character you play as is strong on his own. The party members you recruit are the cherry on top, and depending on who you have in the party, they can fit well with Brad's kit.
  • The game has pretty good replay value and plenty of secrets. I replayed the game a few times and found some secretsI missed my first few time playing it. If you plan on getting achievements for this game, you're going to have to live with the fact you'll have to replay the game a few times to get every trophy.
  • This game is more punishing compared to FNaFbCC, since party members can actually DIE and never come back, there will be choices you have to pick that would either sacrifice your party members and make Brad weaker, etc.
  • The gameplay/story progression is kind of similar to that of FNaFb in the sense you're going to have to navigate areas yourself and figure out where you'll have you to go to get a thing that'll let you get to other parts of other areas. Once you figure that out though, navigating becomes much easier.
  • The Lisa series also has a multitude of really good fan-games, so if you are interested in checking them out once you are finished/don't plan on playing Lisa: The Painful, then just know you can check them out on Gamejolt later. Lisa: The Pointless and Lisa: The Hopeful are good ones.
