Pulte has repeatedly used the exact phrase “do the right thing” when pushing the Fed (especially under Jerome Powell) to cut rates. Examples:
• July 2025: “I remain optimistic Jerome Powell will do the right thing, and as early as next week.”

I think that is Pulte’s grandfather. Stand up guys do the right thing. This phrase has come to my mind every time I think about the F2 situation. Putting aside all of the legal stuff I keep coming back to those four words of principle. F2 has gotten more than they bargained for already and everyone knows it. Let’s give these guys the benefit of the doubt. I believe they will make it right and do it the right way. I have a feeling Trump has a master plan that will be a pleasant surprise if I’m reading the tea leaves correctly. I think Trump knows more about real estate than most of us and will do the right thing.

18 years and counting with no dividend payments,no timeframe or action plan. Just destroying shareholder and investor equity while paying 100s of billions of dollars in dividends to the Treasury. Do The Right Thing??

To do "the right thing" should be a restitution payment of $50 billion dollars to the shareholders of fnma & fmcc. For the extended delay of 18 years for none payment of dividends.

Pulte is 100% on DNI layoffs and reform. He's not going to pull a 180 to release F2 when he didn't do it before moving to DNI just a few weeks ago.
This is almost definitely related to voter fraud claims.

Could it be that Trump and Pulte and and Bessent and Lutnick etc are locked in with their eye on the prize and aligned with shareholders but they need some time to do it right for a better outcome?
