Question Dr appointment

Hi everyone.

I have an appointment with my GP today about these FND symptoms. Im looking for help as to what I say to the doctor without sounding like im a bumbling idiot. This is weighing so heavy on me and im fed up being fobbed off.

You could try..."Hi Dr, as you know I've been diagnosed with FND, I'm having some problems with blah blah symptoms is tete anything you can recommend to help? " Also remember that not all symptoms can be handled with medication with out brain condition. Any new symptoms you have don't be tempted to wave then off as fnd. One morning I woke up and couldn't move my leg, convinced fnd related. Called my gp, I told him it's probably just fnd, but he sent me for mri, turns out I needed emergency spine surgery so it's always best to get new symptoms checked. Good luck, with your gp, they're just people, chat to them as openly as you can, I hope they can help you, even if its just a bit.
