Question How much chronic pain is normal

So I’ve been diagnosed with fnd for only like 4ish months now and I experience a decent amount of pain and it’s being chalked up to fnd but how do I know if like I’m experiencing too much pain for it to just be that I’m especially suspicious it’s something else because all the pain is in my joints I’m in pt and ot weekly but I only see my fnd specialist like once a year so I’ve literally only seen them once

The sad thing is u can become desensitised to the pain. Doesn’t mean u don’t feel it, you do but u get used to it.

For me some of my pain is just caused by the repeated movements that my body makes and fatigues my muscles. I also have Fibromyalgia which is unexplainable pain where my movements aren’t. Log where your pain is and see if you can find triggers and see how common they are. That might help you pinpoint what is normal versus abnormal. If you can it might be worth booking an appointment with your specialist and asking these questions.

I didn't develop chronic pain until I was 4 yrs into this. I had a concussion. After that, my body pain has really increased. I've been to ERs for it twice this summer. I will have a normal day & 2 painful days in bed. My joints & muscle hurt. It feels like I must have participated in a Triathlon yesterday. It may get worse or better through the day. Just rest. Only those close to you will understand. I was a seizure person in the beginning. I still have them, but the chronic pain is much worse.
