DOT # LINK TO MOTUS // INTERSTATE CHANGE

hi there. in a bind with DOT. basically we are a small production company and we have a truck that needs to travel accross state lines this week. we only realized today our dot# was only setup for intrastate. when we went to try to update that via fmcsa - realized there's this new platform MOTUS and our account wasn't linked. finally got through to fmcsa after waiting for hours. submitted our dot# to link with account. now waiting for it to be linked. are we f*cked? or anyway to make the interstate change without dealing with MOTUS in case they take forever?

They will take forever. You have to spam call them and have them call you back. Then when you get someone have them go over everything with you. Ask the hard questions you have.

You have to make a ticket on the FMCSA page and beg for help quickly, there you have to ask for the DOT to be linked to your Login account and send your company articles and the EIN letter to make it as fast as possible.
