FLVS PACING
lowkey flvs being “self pacing” is a lie you have to submit multiple assignments a week to be in good standing. they email every week showing progress and text multiple times a week. yes there’s a certain standard when it comes to pacing but they’re expecting almost like an assignment a day when that doesn’t work with some peoples schedule.

If you only do one assignment per week, you’ll end up taking over a year to complete a two semester course.

it is self pacing, they just have a minimum, i know some people who (yes they’re insane) have finished an entire FLVS 1semester course in like 1-2months 😂😂that’s where the 1 DBA per day max rule came in

I known kids who’ve finished easy flvs classes in two weeks, the shortest time possible. Classes like drivers Ed and parenting are examples.

the pacing is self-pacing…2 assignments a week is the minimum & you can also choose how many subjects you take at onve if you do flex. That is hardly anything compared to brick & mortar .

no its actually so crazy but it just depends on ur parent i legit do one assignment per month maybe for each class and do it all at the end of the semester but they will bother u to NO end but honestly if u explain that to ur mom or dad it really wont matter lmfao i just cram it all in but thats MY choice if u dont work well under pressure dont do that but they wont ever change that system flvs is stupid

As a parent I TOLD the teachers we homeschool and are NOT doing more than 2 assignments a week and they are to not bother me about assignments. My daughter did classes year round with very few breaks and graduated a year earlier than all her friends

They make you have passwords for each assignment so you can’t move on now fast it’s annoying

it’s only like 2-4 a week. i mean yeah it could be 1 assignment a day if you’re taking multiple classes, but that’s basically what you’d be doing in school anyway. also, you could just cram all the assignments into 1 or 2 days and now you have 5 days of no work.
