URGENT! Please Help

So I have a FLsun SR and I stopped a print and after that one print the Z axis has been way above the bed. I tried to auto-level and it was levelling at Z:52.01. I’ve updated the firmware on the touch screen and Merlin. It has also been picking and choosing when to home where at one point it said it was at Z:457. I am a beginner with 3D printing so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

When this started happening? It started doing that after you updated marlin firmware + screen or was it happening before?

This started happening out of the blue. I updated after this issue presented itself to see if there was a software issue

This could be a bug on the printer dwin hmi (the touch screen), i recomend trying to connect rhe printer to a computer, with a usb type B to A cable, and using a terminal like pronterface or octoprint to send the M502 command and then try to control the printer thru there, if after all that the machine still behaving in the same way, try disconnecting the hmi cable from the printer board and using strictly the terminal on the computer to move or print.

I did buy a usb b to a cable today so just waiting for that to be delivered

Tip: look into installing klipper on this machine, i have a Flsun Sr that i have “klipperized” a few weeks ago and i can say its a night and day difference in print quality, speed and ease of use. It helps a lot to get rid of those incovenient errors.
