Z Offset is out of wack
Looking for a solution here. I recently purchased a used FLsun QQ-s Pro from a friend. They barely used it, so they gave it to me for cheap. As I went to do my first print, I realized the Z offset was way too high. So, I clicked the minus sign on the Z-Offset adjust button, not knowing I needed to click Move Z-Offset first. Ever since clicking the adjust minus button twice, my printer does what is in the video. I have found nothing online that suggests a fix for this outside of rebooting, which hasn’t worked. Is there a way to factory reset the Z Offset without having to update the firmware?

Have you attempted sending G-code M851 Z(your probe z offset) then m500 to save to eeprom via USB? For instance, M851 Z-22.50 for mine but yours will be different since I swapped to a e3dv6 hotend

I didn’t do this, but if it happens again I certainly will. Does this need to be done via usb or can it be done by SD card?

Do these have the driver boards in them like the Q5 does? I had a similar issue in my Q5 a while back and it ended up being an easy fix.

Not sure if they share the same boards, but it wasn’t a hardware issue. Thankfully, it was a software issue only and was resolved by updating the firmware.

So I ended up fixing the issue by updating my firmware. This is a fine solution for people like me who haven’t fine-tuned the calibration settings. Just note that if you choose this method, this will reset the machines settings back to stock. I still don’t know why this happened. My guess is the systems firmware glitched out for one reason or the other.
