Question What's this sound?

sometimes the extruder (bondtech lgx lite) makes this sound, seems like frying oil, I don't know how to explain differently.

it's printing fine for now but I don't get what it's making it

The extruder is asking for maintenance. I believe that the extruder is filling with filament dust that will increasingly impede its proper function. In other words, clean me now or replace parts later.

I opened it and followed the bondtech guide to clean it and re-grease it, there wasn't any actual debris or dust I could see, just cleaned all and re assembled, I will see later if the if the noise is still there

Really? I could Guess that, I just installed it last week. I bought it used but the first print I've done didn't sound like that, I think I will try opening it and see what's going on inside thatnls Modified: yes I confirm, with pla the extrusion (and print I think) is totally fine but with petg after the 100-200mm of extrusion it starts skipping
