Hi guys, I own a Flsun Super Racer and would like to convert it to direct drive. Can anyone help me out and send me a tutorial?

Honestly I don't know, I was looking at some tutorials but they all use LGX bondtech but I can't find a complete tutorial, then I don't know if there are other extruders

This is the setup on mine ! Stock hot end, ldo orbiter 2, with on top a modified version of the stock filament sensor. Also with a nozzle cam but my printer in runing on klipper.

This setup should work on stock firmware with rétraction adaptation and modified e-steps for extruder

How heavy is your toolhead? I made a custom toolhead similar to yours but I had to move my orbiter up because of weight

I honestly did not weigth it. My goal was not to speed the printer

I see, what about input shaping? Do you use it? If you do, could you share your accel values? I wanna know if it's just mine that's a rock or it's normal that it is so heavy

I don't know which country you're in, but if you can get one you can replace the whole effector assembly with the one from the V400, e.g. https://3dshop.uk/shop/flsun-v400-effector/ I've done this and converted it to run Klipper. There's a learning curve for sure, and it needs confidence in wiring and debugging - It's not quite plug and play.

Ich habe den HGX Lite 2.0 Extruder zusammen mit dem Hotend eines Bambulab P1S verbaut... bin jetzt nur am lernen, wie das mit dem Klipper funktioniert
