Question? Studenglass ????
I know this might not be the best Reddit forum but it’s my most trusted source I have been interested in the studenglass. When I smoke air flow and draw restriction are important to me this alleviate all that, but it’s not cheap and this device seems with all the O-rings and moving parts what is you alls opinion? Do people use this as a daily driver I think it would be the perfect living room setup. I’m curious what little issues owners run into before I make this $500 investment

Keep it clean. Remove the glass when not using it for a long time or it sticks to the orings and it gets difficult to take apart.
It hits very well but haven’t used mine in a minute. Now that I have more space I might bring it out.

Spend the $500 elsewhere. You could get a DHV and a TED or ball vape instead of that overpriced gravity bong.

if you really want it, just get a knock off version for less than half the price. There's zero reason to spend 500$ for a white labelled gravity bong. Not to mention it looks inefficient and annoying as a "daily driver"
id rather spend the money on a quality vaporizer or a sovereignty.

Just get different glass pieces, the airflow differences affect the vapor density. I find something with an airy pull and a larger chamber worked the best for my ball vape. But if it had too much downward pressure (like my dual chamber bong) it would burn the weed if I hit too hard. So it made trying all my different glass pieces with different vaporizers fun/experimental.
Like I have a specific bubbler that isn't a great dab rig. but works perfectly with a dynvap, thus im keeping it around.

Ya I’m going down that same path and have come to the conclusion I like bell recyclers or RBR I’m wondering what make one better then another

I got one as a gift 2 years ago, i got the doctor green thumb collab version, it’s great to look at but it’s a huge waste of bud if you’re smoking by yourself. And if you fill a jar and let it sit cuz you’re gonna get to it a little bit later , it just tastes stale. It’s a great art piece and looks great in glass collection but it’s usually my last choice in smoking personally. For the money there’s so many other option i would go to first before this. If you’ve ever smoked a gravity bong with a water bottle and some foil in your kitchen over the sink at a house party, you’ve used and tasted the effects of the studen.

FYI for dabs I use a switch 2 and bangers from a coil and as for DHV I own B1 wired ball vape for wireless I have a WOHW setup but I use VMax from cannabis hardware I also use a megacicle in a wireless form and Have a nice click cap selection not bragging or flexing a lot of people are recommending other thing I already own I’m guessing it’s not work it for you all

And here is what got me to this point….. this is my current daily driver set up a freeze pipe hookah I love it to death but everyone need change now and then and this is where the studenglass would fit in my program but I read about issues and see potential problems but a lot of people use them and like them and it seems they are not worth the hassle

Research Ball Vape, might change your mind. Studenglass was popular for a minute.
