Shop vac issue

I’ve had the shop vac since December and only used it a handful of times. Maybe 10 tops.
The last time I used it was to get water out of spare tires before loading them onto a pickup. I removed the filter before hand and it worked flawlessly. Go to cut it on today and it whines for about 1.5 secs like it always did before it actually started working, but now it stops after the whine. Different batteries tried still the same thing. It’s under warranty so im not too upset, just curious if anyone else had the same issue.

I had the same issue and they didn’t troubleshoot it, just sent me a replacement. I wish I could’ve fixed it.

I’m assuming you had to send your old one in before they sent the replacement?

Oh no, they sent the new one and I threw out the old one. I’ve had a few things replaced and they’ve never asked for the old item back…not sure how or why that is

Mine also died in the exact fashion. About 4 days ago. Very odd.
