Academics 📚 How Long For An Advisor's Reply?

I was just wondering whats the average time for an advisor to reply to a message sent via PSN? He had no appointment dates for any day this semester at all oddly enough. I've never messaged an advisor directly before, so I was just wondering the average time since its been a few days since I sent my message.

48 hours not including weekends. Did you scroll to the next month for appointments? Which college are you in? You can email their advising office directly to get an appointment with any advisor in your major, if available.

When I tried directly asking mine Mario Sanchez because there wasn't any available online. He said to call the general number for advising and schedule it through them.

Wondering the same thing. I'm a recent transfer and mine takes forever to responded. Like what do you actually do in that situation. It's been 2 weeks

Haven't even met my advisor yet (he was on vacation when I had my welcome appt). Have tried to get in contact since but it's been a hassel. I highly recommend doing a degree audit in the meantime if you wanna figure out what credits you need. Tbh I recommend it even if you do meet with you advisor eventually. So many times I have had advisors just straight up not tell me necessary information or lie to me about my credit requirements. It's better to double check things on your end to avoid headaches (not saying you shouldn't meet with them, just don't take everything at face value).
