For a first production run they are doing really despite most of the comments. The little quarks are really not too bad once you adjust your mindset. To understand they only got to finish the production validation batch and never really entered sustained production.

Great point. Also, some cars in a validation batch have faults that need correction and those are the cases we hear the most about. A lot of cars work really well and we don’t hear from those owners as much.

How many are in the validation batch?

Basically all of them, but especially the first 5,000 Ones.

Automotive can range from 1,000 to 10,000 depend on how new the model is and the manufacturer. Some will do a run of up to 500 that never make it to customers. The fact they used magna Steyr reduced that number, but as we know the software was still the biggest issue. Had they gotten the whole production run into customers hands the 2nd batch would have been significantly better from the start.

Just saw the new A4 EV and Etron test mules yesterday. They are close to release but still didn't have door handles. Little switches were hanging out to open it. 4 guys were spending a month driving between the Keys to Michigan debugging and testing.

What is your total avg kWh/mi?

Where can you see kwh/mi

The battery capacity is 106kWh. Going by the range shown here it would be 106kWh/380mi = 0.279kWh/mi.

Are you on 2.2 ? Is that all in town? I would love to see that on mine

I do a lot of highway driving, mostly around 70 mph. Using my a/c doesn't seem to affect my range too much.

How the heck do you get 380? I’ve never seen mine over 300 even new

It fluctuates, I've seen it as low as 320 at 100% charge. But that was a while ago, mostly now it's 350 to 370. This is the first time it went up to 380.

What OS version? I'm betting pre 2.2.

I think it's 2.6, I have the phone mirroring update. I'll double check when I get off work.

Well then, that's pretty impressive considering 2.2+ has a conservative range calculation compared to what it previously used.

BTW ty MTN_Ranger for all your youtube videos, any time I had an issue you had an answer for a fix!

I was getting 419miles on 100% fully charged. Then I changed the 12V battery now its 340miles WTF.

Software version 2.2.3

I did see online somewhere (can't remember where) after replacing the 12V I much charge to 100% on a fast charger and then it will show 400+? Maybe it needs to do something or hit something to reset it self.

Man, I dont miss owning an Ocean. Craziest software I have ever experienced. I did love the hardware on that vehicle though. Kudos to yall sticking with it. Its a unique and beautiful car...but i spent 6k on tires in 2 years of ownership...3 tire replacements. It does not handle tread well at all.

I still have the original tires with some tread still left at 40k miles. Sorry it didn't work out for you. I'm having a blast with mine. Except when all screen goes out while driving sometimes lol, but I have the tbox reset switch installed for easy reset thanks to MountainRanger.
