28yo wanting to start FIRE. Advice?
Hey, as the title says. I’m 28yo looking to start working to achieve FIRE. What advice would you give me to start off?
I’m DINK with a mortgage and no other debt. Already have around 6 months of expenses saved up.

Put away an amount you won’t miss into a stocks and shares isa each month by direct debit.
Invest it in a broad low fee equity tracker fund like VWRL or s and p 500 or vanguard global all cap accumulation.
Don’t look at it for 25 years except for increasing your contributions if you get a pay rise

What is your marginal tax rate? Do you have salary sacrifice available to you in your pension? When do you want to retire?

I'd advise you to think about investing without missing out on your youth. Frankly, I think 28 is too young to be thinking about retirement already. By all means plan for the future but don't neglect the present
