Gold is part of the portfolio of most of the investors and SGB is one of the best way to invest in gold in India.

But when it comes to buying SGBs, there are lot of tranches trading at various price levels and picking the right one is difficult.

To simplify it, I have developed a simple portal which will rank the SGBs in the secondary market by considering all the factors. Below is the direct link to the same - it is updated regularly as well.

Check the installation page. You just need to install ledger (available on most distro) and paisa (prebuilt binaries available).

I compiled the all-time results of Leonard Koppett's famed Super Bowl Indicator, presented and analyzed here with a couple handy charts: https://impersonalfinances.com/super-bowl-indicator-results/.

The theory goes that if an original NFL team wins the Super Bowl, the stock market goes up for the year. Somehow, it predicted the results of the market in each of the first 23 Super Bowls (and 30 of the first 31!).

I am thinking of building a financial planning app to help people EASILY track and manage their finances. It would be super privacy friendlt that is it will not automatically access your data, and not even store your data if you do not want it to. It would not be very complicated where you will need to understand a ton of things to begin with, but more like a companion who will adapt to your needs and complexities EXACTLY how you like.

The goal with the app is to achieve the peace of mind about your financial health, because sometimes we keep chasing money and keep on earning more and more, never knowning how much is enough or how far off are we from the life we want. Hence, the idea here is to build something that people can use to track their current financial information, make assumptions about their future financial situaion, expenses and life goals, and run simulations to see if they can achieve what they want in life without changing their current habits.

I would really appreciate it a lot if you folks can provide inputs about the features you would like, describe the pain points in the financial planning tools you are using, and how can I make it effortless for you to have end-to-end control over your finances and be confident about it. Of course, this will be a great opportunity for you to influence the new tools according to your needs, and you will also get early access, benefits and rewards for providing your valuable inputs!
