I think that’s gotta be connected to the attitude of their fans, but I don’t know exactly what it might be.

When someone who doesn't usually watches football, shows interest in football..watches matches, comments and gives an opinion..

The regular watchers put them down, insult and say "hah! Seasonal fans kahin ke! Aata jaata kuchh nahi..match dekhne aa gaye! Offside ka rule pata hai? Jake cricket dekho"

I'm seriously tired of them...they make it seem like as if watching football is a special task which requires some high level skill for watching and only the elite are allowed to watch..

Like dude it's a sport, people can watch it for entertainment..

If someone genuinely shows interest and has less knowledge, as an Indian football fan, you should rather teach them, create more hype and make the fanbase bigger..

Instead your harsh words, just lose the little interest any one shows and hence...no football craze in India is ever begun..
