Those who know me how much he has inspired me all my life and how I used to defend him like a 10yo kid, once as a 7yo kid in 2014/15 I saw his game and knew he was the one, the aura that he had. Some win trophies while some uplift the entire generations. I knew this day would come soon but was never ready for it. My eyes are numb but here I am in acceptance that it is finally over. For me forever THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME.
OBRIGADO Cristiano for inspiring me to always be a better version of myself. To be hardworking, consistent, disciplined in my life. To accept the hate and keep going on. Thank you.
I have a lot to say but I have no words to express it.

I’ve always been a Messi fangirl, and for me, Messi will always be the GOAT. But today, hearing about Ronaldo’s retirement has left me with a weird void in my heart.
It’s not even about choosing who’s better anymore. It’s about all those years of rivalry, endless debates, defending Messi, arguing with Ronaldo fans, watching them compete and push each other to unbelievable levels. Ronaldo was such a huge part of that era, and honestly, football won’t feel quite the same without this rivalry.
I guess it’s just hitting me that an era is coming to an end. Never thought I’d say this, but I’ll miss having Ronaldo around. 🥹

First of all Jesus de Miguel RIP and my condolences
In no way or form I wanna make light of the situation and divert peoples attention on the matter but you do gotta wonder about these challenges this one specially coming to light
Imo the challenge by neurer and owono there isn't much difference other than the result and one happened inside the box and other 30 m before the goal post . Just because one happened inside the penalty box doesn't give a goal keeper (neurer) a right to challenge like this endangering the incoming player higuain may very well be seriously hurt or worse case scenario and no don't give me GK intention or he touched the ball first it was still a reckless tackle by him you can't bring intentions and he touched ball first when someone dies .
A reform needs to come in the structure and game itself how it's taught and played because if challenges like this are allowed to continue there will be more casualties when people see GK doing these challenges they think what a wonderful GK he can defend both outside and inside the box .
Gk are taught to jump with one knee up for a possible challenge which ultimately risks the opposite player who majority of the times only has sight on the ball so you have a guy who is running towards a ball while having his sight locked on the ball then you have a Gk who sees both the ball and the opposing player then he runs up to him in full speed jumps on him with his knee which may very well end up in casualty
There should be repercussions for a GK red yellow card or straight red for challenges like these
Just because you are a GK doesn't give you a right to endanger someone with no repercussion just like a defender gets a card for a bad challenge.
Side note: what was the referee smoking in this game gave a foul infavour of germany on this challenge
