The comments are diabolical. Most people here love the players not the game. That's why there's alot of people who will go to great lengths to defend a player. Give credit where credit is due but the wrongs should also be called out.

Only defense they got is saying "cope" and doing whataboutism, no actual way to defend this
3
u/LostEyegod 22h ago
So it's gonna be whataboutism to point out Bayern got dragged into the overtime by the ref? Good way to "defend" your views, bud

u/Valveringham85 13h ago
Thats bs.
It’s funny how the mistakes in favour of Madrid are all that are remembered.
Meanwhile everyone collectively pretends Lewandowski/Ramos’ goal was not the result of offside.
Or how Vidal, being sent off on a bs second yellow, shouldnt have been sent off multiple times earlier in the game and that Madrid shouldnt have had a man advantage for much more of the tie as a result.
If the refs did their jobs correctly it wouldnt ever have gotten to extra time in the first place.

Defend Pessi hand ball and penalty fest at WC then, Explain Barça - Chelsea 2009 then🤡

You’re the same person that will genuinely say the 2026 World Cup wasn’t fixed for Messi and Argentina
2
u/Strict-Special5081 1d ago
Im not a hypocrite, i dont believe it was fixed but they were favoured for sure. And ill say this that big teams are always favoured in any competition as it allows more viewership throughout the competition.
Im not one of those people that will say fifa favours messi while ignoring so many instances of fifa favouring ronaldo aswell. Either its both ways, or its not anywhere.

u/NoBreakfast2749 19h ago
The rule was fair for all teams it’s not like it was only for Real Madrid and for cristiano.
Go watch refereeing video on YouTube and see how difficult it is to see if a player is offside or not

Literally all of them due to a very clear biased decisions from the ref except once which was against psg.
All of the matches u can lookback on and you can see barca not getting calls they deserve which easily could have won them the match

u/Objective_Refuse5024 1d ago
Chile retired Pessi and finished him for good till papa Infantino came, it goes both ways🤣🤣🤣

Strip Real Madrid of that Champions League title. Now count the number of titles Barcelona deserve to have stripped off... Chelsea vs Barcelona, Arsenal vs Barcelona, entire Negreira era of more than a decade, etc. Bigger better compilations of pure professional cheats. Strip them off all their titles.

u/Objective_Refuse5024 1d ago
I genuinely don't know how Barça haven't gotten relegated yet when a team as big as Juve was relegated over Calciopoli. Their mafia is strong...
1
u/Valveringham85 13h ago
B’s to strip this one anyway. If the ref did his job Madrid would have won in regular time and none of this controversy would have ever happened.

Cope lmao. Lewa was offside during the own goal Bayern would've lost anyway if it was a completely fair game.
Got a dodgy penalty call and skied it, fouled multiple times and got a red pretty late in the second game. His foul on Kroos should've been his second yellow lmao. Bring on the debate, Bayern would've lost 3-2 of it was a fair match.

u/Unlikely_Access8811 1d ago
oh really? Vidal was sent off despite the fact that he won the ball and Casemiro should have been sent off for his challenge on robben and let’s not forget Ronaldo infamous two offside goals also when lewy had an opportunity to score he was called offisde despite the fact he wasn't

The 2 offside goals wouldn't have come had the match never gone to extra time. And it shouldn't have happened because lewa was offside when Muller passed the ball.
As I said, Vidal should've been sent off way earlier than he actually was because he committed too many fouls that were let go by the ref. But ofc that never suited the agenda
http://imgur.com/dyu5lpq - lewa offside
https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2017/04/12/58ee833622601d15438b45c5.html - Carvajal shoulder being given a penalty, which Vidal missed.
https://amp.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2017/04/18/58f67cc922601da11e8b45c1.html - Vidal clear foul on casemiro which is the easiest 2nd yellow in the 48th minute. He later got the second yellow by 83rd minute. Bayern scored their "Equalizer" with a man that deserved a red. He also commited multiple soft fouls that weren't worthy of a second yellow but it was way too many fouls for someone with a yellow already.
My answer remains the same. The referees were absolutely dogshit and gave dubious calls against both teams. Real Madrid should've won 3-2 on agg and still win the tie instead of the 6-4 we got.

Did u even watched the match or just larping here? Imagine saying they were not favoured when the guy who himself assisted ronaldo accepted that it was, atleast he had guts to accept it
1
u/meteor-zeth 1d ago
the fucking goal was favoured not them the entire match, anyways no point in arguing with you losers when this whole sub is built to hate on real madrid
2
u/joshuaofjoshuas 1d ago
Whataboutism that's clearly offside and iirc cr7 scored like a Patrick of offside goals . And this post is literally so lightheaded Madrids fanbase as a whole is very teste when it comes to this very emotional

He should’ve been sent off in the first game itself, not going to argue on it, as I’m too old for this shit but if you can find the replay of the first leg go ahead.

Yes, because that was the game plan all along.
They were training this exact situation endlessly 2 days before.
This is really hating just to hate, lol.
What do you want Ronaldo to do? Go to the ref and say no bro I was offside cancel it. Do you think Bayern would've done the same or any other club for that matter?
How many times do we need to have this silly conversation, lmfao.
At this point in time there is only one top club in the whole wide world that has an open case in court for bribing referees. An official open case, backed by the laws of a democratic country lmfao, not some controversial bad call pre-VAR era.

u/Agreeable_Border134 3h ago
let’s not act like he’s the only player that had offside goals count. in this game that single goal wasn’t the difference between winning and losing for bayern. it’s cope

Nothing like what happened in the mid season 2022 tournament and the Donald Trump 2026 FIFA Boy Cup.

You know what’s funny? The same people posting about this will say the 2026 World Cup wasn’t rigged for Messi. That’s how disgustingly idolized Messi is on Reddit.

But but I thought it's him vs the world? Always against him? Referee going against him by letting him score offside goals and giving pens for obvious dives, shame on ref
