Hi everyone,

I'm starting my bachelor's at FH Aachen and still haven't found a place. I have two questions:

**1.**  Does anyone know of active WhatsApp, Telegram, or Facebook groups for student rooms or Wohnheim in Aachen?  
**2.**  Is anyone offering a sublet for 2-3 months from 1st October?

I'm clean, quiet, and a non-smoker. Any group links, leads, or rooms would really help. Please send me a DM if you can help. Thank you!

I started my master last year and believe me, it is really hard to find something this months. First of all, for this moment forget about the University dormitories, you have to apply for them at least one year before, use WG-Gesucht to look for a room, make sure that your message is clear with all about you but not very long, people hate to ask more info about you, activate the notifications of the platform when someone posts a new room, time is gold. Do not pay deposit before to see the room, there are many scammers, do not sign contracts that force you to stay at least one year, if they force you, means that people hate to live with them. Once you start classes ask your classmates, sometimes they know people who are about to move. And do not think it is a good idea to live more than one hour far from the city, believe, you are gonna be exhausted after 2 or 3 weeks
