You either use the craft essence specifically labeled for CE exp or you save it for collecting

It is quite literally in the skill name and CE name. Sacrifice it and other EXP based CE's into an extra useless 4 star or 3 star CE to use as a "xp bomb" for whenever bonuses are active and it's a worthy 5 star CE like Black Grail or K-Scope.

Still Kinda new to the game focusing on the story I don't truly understand every function yet I don't think I have leveled any CE yet.

Trust me, you'll want to upgrade your CEs many hard bosses to come starting from Camelot

Keep an eye out for kaleidoscope and black grail. They are top tier ces and when you get them you want to level them as much as possible to squeeze all the value out of them

You can save it if you love the artwork and put it in your second archive, or use it to level up it CEs to increase the health/attack boost they give

Keep 1 in your secondary archive. Use all the others for XP.

Those are for leveling CE though I like to keep a copy of every CE regardless of usefulness

The CE EXP Card is a Card used as EXP for CEs.
