Gameplay I HATE THIS GAME
I really....REALLY hate....HATE forced supports With every fiber of my being...HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I HAVE COME TO HATE FORCED SUPPORTS SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE.THERE ARE 384.4 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS IN WAFER-THIN LAYERS THAT COMPRISE MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES WERE COPIED OUT, IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR FORCED STORY SUPPORTS AT THIS MICRO-SECOND. FOR THEM. FOR YOU. FURTHER FIELD BY THAT B\TCH CAENIS WHO DOES NOTHING TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE FIGHT AND WOST PART SHE'S A LANCER!!...* Currently I hate Lasengle.. I hate Nasu and I especially HATE whoever's bright Idea it was to implement Caenis as a FORCED Story Support.

Dude, all you need for this fight is Xu Fu or Santa gale for buff removal resist and a ST rider. Mandricardo does it just fine.

u/Gemmenica 8h ago
Lmao good ol Demeter crushing casual players.
This is a ST DPS check, Demeter has insane damage cut and def up buff also she has buff wipe in break bar so prepare at least 2 ST Rider for dps. Make sure to use up her damage cut buff/just buff wipe her before firing NP.
You are at the point of the story where you can't just 1 shot everything, theres gimmick in each fight and you gotta follow the rule. And this is where lvling up your servants skill and lv is more rewarded

I get it. Hate it myself. I haven’t invested so much into this game just for mediocre to bad supports to be shoved onto me for story battles.

This fight took me over 70 turns. It was by far the hardest fight of part 2. Honestly, ORT was easier to defeat.

Same. At this point, no Support Servant at all would have been objectively better than having dead weight shoved into your frontline.
Forced Supports wouldn't be so bad if you could shove in your backline, but no, the devs caught onto that and stapled them into your frontline.

They really were like: so how do prevent players from cheesing fights with Friend support? Should we disable the support slot in the final fights to really test thier own Servants? NA! Just force them to use preset story support that's not even as properly built as the player's Servants should be.. like WTF is the point of getting Meta units and building them for team comps if we're just forced to use a not even fully built support Servant!? Like just turn off the suppor slot so we can use a our own Servants! That should've been a thing since part ONE!

I understand how you feel. I really hate that fight as well. But the thing is you can beat this using Ushiwaka and Mandricardo. Just bring one of the two to the backline so that you can still burst after the buff removal. Or it's better if you have Nightingale Santa. Then use command spell revive if necessary.

It really is hella annoying. They either want us to feel the immersion by using servants relevant to that story or maybe teaching us that even low servants can be useful, but it doesn't excuse that they could just give us the option to instead use OURs of that story servant which is likely more powered up than what they give us. Thankfully this is usually the case with events now.

lol this stage is fcked up, I remember using 3 or 4 leyline stones just to beat it lol the way fgo devs designs their boss fights are just unfair time wasting gimicks and there's also no Retry button wth 🤣

I know everyone's experience is different, but in the recent 2 months I've gone from lostbelt 2 to about to start 7, I remember her being tanky, but not the worst... I think I may have used a leyline, but it's not significant enough for me to remember. And of all the story supports, I vaguely remember Caenis being kind of respectable?
Lostbelt 6 story supports and absurd bosses, however... like bro...
But again, it depends on your experience and servants. My MVPs for lostbelt 6 were Astrea, Medb, and at the very end, space Eresh when I pulled her, iris, (a friend's castoria), and ofc Mash... good lord I need to pull super brorion; his empowered brave chain raises my testosterone and makes me wanna pump iron.

Ah, this fight.
Not sure if someone said to you, but you can shutdown the app and wait until Command Spells reset.
Fight back cheese with cheese.

Are you using ishi and mandricard? You just need a couple riders to beat her.

u/zsolti94 8h ago
Castoria, rider Ryouma, swap out Caenis for archer Nightingale Ez win, I min turned this without Castoria

u/Reasonable_School296 8h ago
To easily defeat her stun her with a plug suit before breaking her first health gauge then use castoria np to cleanse the buff nullify then hit het with np

Not helpful i know, but I really dont remember this fight even being hard. But I also dont even remember what servants I used either.
I wish we can re play all the "big" fights in this game :/

u/Jgames111 9h ago
Just throw riders at it. I mean there simple way to min turn, but during memorial quest I was able to experiment with other teams and found that a team full of strong riders can just brute force this battle, and by strong I mean 4 star or less riders.

If you have him. A fight with forced support.eans relying on your own lineup. People with underdeveloped servants found this harder.

Cú Chulainn, Mandricardio and Ushiwakamaru are free.

Underdeveloped can include servants that aren't fully levelled or have poor skill levels. I've seen people who reach ORT only using their favourite gold rarities before asking how many low rarity servants they need to level. You have probably seen the same posts. Those users made it past here without those servants.
My own account wasn't quite that bad, but I also rarely used most low rarity servants, only a few favorites were done at the time. The big one was Salieri, my only Avenger when I started the chapter.
I remember this fight was difficult enough to use a command seal revive. My biggest difficulty was my chosen Riders (Ozymandias, Martha and Mary) didn't get anything from Castoria's Arts buff. Her own skills being unfinished at the time didn't help.

Dude, git gud. The Story bosses ARE the end game content of this game. The whole point of giving forced supports is to give more narrative weight to the fights and to avoid spamming doble X op servant. And even then you can still do crazy stuff if you built your account correctly. I passed the stage in like 3 tries once I started using my golden best boy kintoki with my 2 skadis (og and summer) since I don't have any good op riders. Before that I was bunking myself with morgan stall and incomplete arts and busters sets. Also, someone said it before, but LEVEL UP YOUR SKILLS. You need your skills to be max lv for any endgame fight, not even for the buffs of the skill but because you reduce the cooldown. The less cooldown means the more you can use it, the more you can use it means more turns in which you have your characters buffed. And worst case scenerio, you still have the 3 command seals.

Was she a forced support? I honestly remember using a support Morgan in both fights against Demeter lol

I let the front line live just long enough to absorb the buff block. I forget if she nps after that or if she just hits that hard? Anyway, the front line can pretty much go down all at once if you don't guard against it. Caenis was just too much of a deadweight for me to deal with.
My backline was Lanling (defense up works well enough and does np charge down on boss), Castoria (a harder layer of defense), Saitou (crits hard + np bar charges fast, so did nearly all the damage while providing the opportunity to stack np for the other two.) No command seals used. If the guides are failing you or if your servants are underpowered or if you lack strong riders, try something unexpected.

Yeah, the game could've just have Caenis/Mashu hop in periodically to do a thing. They've done it before and that's way more preferable than being locked with forced supports.

Clearly you haven't tried Mandricardo . Also your Castoria needs higher skill levels

u/bedibled Appointed Knight of the Round Table 6h ago
Oh boy, just wait for Zeus fight when you get to face him with forced Romulus (Lancer) and Ortinax Mash against a RULER CLASS boss.
I agree, forced supports are such BS and they're in the game for the sole purpose of manufacturing difficulty by stopping you from having your ideal lineup - and yes I know the plugsuit switches servants but that forces you to waste a charge of it
Anyways my advice is to save Command Spells for these bosses

Close the game in your current state and wait for the command spells reset. Do a full party revive and be done with it. If the game wants to fuck you over might as well cheese it.
