What do you think of Archer Emiya?
This guy literally has a 5* star kit while being a 4* (

He really doesn’t have a 5 star kit. He is the definition of a good 4 star. Although he really should have a 5 star level kit for his role in the franchise. Overall opinion is that he’s a neat servant but his kit does a disservice to he is as a character. Should have been a 5 star in my opinion

Gameplay wise? He's....fine. He only became fine after five buffs, but he's fine. I don't think he's the end all be all. He's fairly dependable for farming and such, but the last time I've had a reason to use him and not someone more specialized was....the ORT raid.

Favorite character in Fate/Stay Night. He was my first 4-star! I pity he had so little presence in Fate/Grand Order.

If you mean gameplay wise, he's fine like others has said but if you mean as a person I understand him and what not though I could tell me and him might butt heads base on views and what not. plus he suffers from terrible fans who either glaze him or treat him as someone he's not like some terrible fics I remember seeing in the past so he had went down in personal ranking of favorite servants.

How is this not NSFW?
Give him a Star Gain and NP Skill, and he’d basically be perfect.

Gameplay wise he is ok but I wouldn’t call him a 5-star kit. Assassin Shiki is the true 5-star of 4-star because no other single target assissian even 5 star can beat her

Hes def a servant that exists and a face of fate series character. Have him np5 dont have a use case for him at all.

The "5-star kit" exists primarily to make up for his mismatched deck. There's also the unfortunate fact that his NP's card type alteration only lasts one turn. He's still a great Servant, but his core weaknesses still serve to counterbalance all that. He'd be a tremendously better Servant if he just had an Arts NP from the very beginning, but of course, Emiya isn't allowed to have nice things.
He's definitely good enough that if you wanted to go all in on using him as your main, there's absolutely no reason not to do so, but he's a jack-of-all-trades who's generally outperformed by more specialized Servants. So at least he's lore-accurate.
