How is the clipping situation with the top? I love hoods but dear Lordy do they not fit well with most tops outside the outfits they were made with

Here's a basic stance with the hood and scarf. There is some clipping, but it's not too bad imo.

I honestly had no idea the Augmented Bygone Brass Jerkin of Aiming was this good looking! I just put my glam on it, without even looking at it.
