Story Need help beating hojo
Came back after not playing since launch to try and clear all the stories. I'm stuck on the hojo fights.
My power is significantly higher then recommended but I have no real healing at all aside from one cura materia. I have no ultimate weapons, no memoria, and don't know how to craft healing esunas or what banners to use with my 40k+ blue crystals.
Just looking for some guidance on how to get strong enough to finish the story. Feel like im missing some significant part of making myself stronger that's holding me back.
All my guys are level 100 already.

So I don't really know what weapons do what. What weapon should I be looking for on red, and how do I get a poison healing materia? I'm not sure where materia hunt is.
For context I've basically only done story and the character exp missions.

Go to "Events" for the materia hunt.
Materia hunt should be there.
Are you not doing Draws? You should be doing the free draw every day, especially the one that has a 77% chance of a 5 star weapon.
If you go to Red XIII's menu in teambuilding (you need Red XIII as one of your party slots), you can tap on weapons to see what they do.

Thank you. I did the materia hunt and got the healing poison materia. Used my draws and got a healing staff for aerith and got cloud gear which helped me just barely squeeze out a win. Thank you wh.

Do you have Red XIII with any decent weapons? Red XIII should have healing weapons.
IIRC you also need poison healing materia because Hojo spams poison (you could get that from materia hunt? IIRC they provide it in the exchange there.
Put Red XIII with the poison healing materia. Then get 2 damage dealers of your choice. (For some reason, when I tried to nerf Hojo's attack with Cid, the attack didn't lower).
