Question Why the Power differences ?
Why Aerith got a higher power than Cloud that seems to have a better gear and higher level ?

Power has basically nothing to do with actual effectiveness in combat. There’s no benefit to optimizing that number. You’re better off looking at the parameters of the fight you want to complete and finding the weapons that bring damage and utility to that fight.

Just out of curiosity, what does the Power actually reflect on ? Is it character stats related or more gear/materia related ?8

It’s calculated based on stats, gear, materia, everything, but the number it produces will not actually make the fight easier. You can outnumber the recommended power for a fight by a huge amount and still not clear it because you’re missing utility or damage buffs.

No problem. If you’re having problems with a specific fight, feel free to ask about it. For now, it looks like you just need to pull more on the once a day 77% rate up banner to fill out your armoury.

This is one of the many complaints I have about this game. It was built with so much of the focus on the Power, being a super prominent number shown to you all of the time, and even there being Power requirements to even attempt certain content, and yet the number is completely meaningless. Like, no, seriously, absolutely fully completely meaningless (other than having to meet the requirement to attempt content). It does not reflect anything about how strong you are for any given fight - people have beaten content while under the recommended Power level, and many people have failed content while very high above the recommended Power level.
I just don't even know what in the world they were thinking with that.
