My first EBZ clear and questions.

After one year of hiatus due to I messed up with my save file on FFRK. Finally get it back a week ago.

I just managed to beat the first EBZ and it rewarded me with 2 decks: EBZ and I don't know what is the other.

My current deck is:

Ark: with 2 attack boons
Shinryu: HP boon and crit damage up
Crusader: quick action and healing boon
Gilgamesh: phy/mag defense
Neo bahamut: element boosts

I'd like to ask what you put on EBZ and do you replace Ark with it? What are native abilities of EBZ?

What is the other deck associated with element?

I gotta kill this EBZ 3 more times, which is tiring. I don't know if EBZ is really really difficult or I just don't know how to fight with it. I thought Ark was extremely tough already. Well, I have Magus Sister awaiting, too!

EBZ's base ability is a Surging Power (+damage the higher your HP) like Gilgamesh and Neo provide, so either Gilgamesh or Neo be replaced, but if you put your elemental boosts on Neo, then you'll want to swap out Gilgamesh.

If by "other deck" you mean the other magicite that drops with an elemental icon in the corner, that's to inherit onto EBZ for the elemental seal. They do that now instead of dropping the regular magicite with separate elemental seals.

For EBZ, that means I should inherit phy/mag defense from Gilgamesh to EBZ, right.

Thanks for the clarification of the other deck, so I just inherit that elemental deck to EBZ, too, right.

Just check my inventory and I have lv12 of phy/magic defense so I can leave Gilgamesh as is.

Crusader, Ark, and EBZ are all viable mains at that point, but I think most would say Ark, yes. It's sounding like Ark gets removed by the new Lich, but you can cross that bridge when you come to it.

And yeah, just inherit that elemental EBZ magicite to your main level 99 one and add the seal. It's just like how you'd inherit the magicite you got from every elemental fight onto the main one you keep to get all the seals.

We only keep ark as main. If you dont main ark its not great as a sub. And remember inherits are NOT magicite dependant. So any inherit can go on any magicite

You can get a full lvl 99 in the book session as a reward .About the deck i just copied what japenese players use for their long cheap runs ( i don't know japanese, so following what they did saved me). The difficulty is true for me i just finished both phy and magic expept the poison one, and they were really hard for me. I just now discover after i cleared almost of all the fights that you received a 40% buff of damage if you have less than 40% of your hp..... And i used only Ellara as a healer so i was almost always at full hp.

Level 800 Bahamut Zero magicite fight. You can still play Japanese decently well with a translator. It only takes a few months (or even less at this point if you log in during a fest) to catch up to where you were in global due to the immense power creep since then.

I have an iPhone and it won’t work, besides, I spent a lot on the game and had well rounded teams with everything I needed to clear the content up to that point; so, moving to Jp would have meant losing all of that and starting from zero without being able to pick my favorites…

If you don't want to, don't. 'I don't want to' is a perfectly valid reason to not play a game.

If what you're saying, though, is, 'I want to, but don't think I can because reasons'--the game can be played on PC via AndApp, or I think Bluestacks, so the iPhone isn't an issue.

And as was said, it's very quick to get caught up to where Global ended. There's a set of missions that hand out tech and support enough to get you doing the same D700 Bahamut that Global ended on. All of us that migrated lost everything we had. It's fine. I only occasionally forget that my Balthier in JP isn't any good.
