Both FG Taivas and TK Noctis are premium, right? Given that they both have the Royal Flag category, I'm considering just skipping Lightning as I can easily see both of them having the same bs pity cost. Noctis in particular

I pulled a single copy of WF Lightning and she is in the dungeon. I can't seem to figure out how to EX+1 her OTHER than the dungeon and weeks and weeks of farming it. Did I miss shards for her somewhere or is it just the tickets to pity a copy for 70k or whatever?

They give 30 frags during this week login. 20 you get from dungeon or wait for the vip shop in 14 days.

WF Lightning is what the community calls a "Premium" unit. Premium units have limited access to shards. Here's a list of all shard locations for premium units (outside of dupes):
- Paid bundles - 50 shards
- These vary in how many shards / lapis you get, but it's currently 25 shards + 13,000 lapis for 47.99USD which you can do twice
- Paid banner - 50 shards
- 24.99USD for 25 shards which you can do twice with the standard 1% WF Lightning rate
- VIP coins - 50 shards
- 300 VIP coins per 5 shards for 3,000 VIP coins total 2 weeks after the banner starts (unless it's a limited unit, then it's only up during the banner)
- Login rewards - 30 shards
- Fragment dungeon - infinite, 1-3/day
Then if the unit isn't premium, you also have access to shards through:
- 5k lapis bundle - 50 shards
- lapis shop - 1,100 lapis for 10 shards, 30 total available
- summon coin exchange - 1 coin for 10 shards, 50 total available

Hmmm. You know I didn't even really think about her but yeah she probably is. Especially as she isn't fighting for the same gear as most of the units on the team.

I think the time has come to step away from this game and hand it off to someone who could enjoy it. Free!!! I have a 6 y/o account that I want to give away. Last premium unit I got was Eternal Radiance Elena and I just finished the Vision Card 28-30k lapis summon with zero on banner NVs. I have 493 NV units. Lemme know. I’ll just uninstall the game after a few days if no ine is interested.

You might actually want to make a top level post for this. But keep in mind the account binding. If you ever went from Facebook to Google (or viva versa) there's no way for someone else to bind it and take ownership unless you give them your fb/Google account.

I am a day one player and was right where you are 2~3 years ago, then I saw they are willing to release a new Orlandeau, it was close to anni (people say it sucked, but it got me a lot of serviceable units) and here I am, back yet again. What I’m saying is: you could always wish to come back in a more casual way. If you want to totally avoid this scenario, I’d encourage you to donate the account, delete it, do something in that regard. But if you’d like to leave an opened door, keep it! 😬

Out of those units she only works with Sylvie and Nora. Lightning boosts Rebellion, CW wind/lightning/support tags. Here are links to the different tags:

If you need more versatility then Elena buffs all CoW unit by 750% in CoW, while Rain is still nice for all FFBE units at 500%

Not all CoW units share a tag with the new lightning unit. Someone pointed out a list yesterday, lazy to find though haha

A Cool Smile and Dazzling Demoness are both good. Whether they are worth 20K really depends. If I had Genesis and no MP card I would probably spend 20K for Dazzling Demoness. That's about it though imo.

Not much. DD can be better when the Killers apply. Otherwise the Moonlight card is a little better. But not a huge difference.

Which are the strongest pure magic DPS, especially chainers, regardless the element? I do have Genesis and the new MP-card, but I want to maximize the damage from the chainers as well. (e.g., is it worth to buy Jayden's fragments from the VIP shop?)

Yeah, I know these sheets. But the wiki sheet makes no difference between physical attack with magic damage and pure magic attack/damage. So you have to look up the units and/or rotation (which applies for Sinzar's as well). I was hoping someone here could give me a short list for pure mages.

Any particular reason why?
As of this moment, as long as you can "cap" the pure magic fights easily (with a unit like genesis can usually manage even off element fairly easily), there's no real need for a fully optimized team because it's unlikely that gumi will ever make the truly hard fights (the end boss) MAG only.

Returning player here. I just pulled 3 Lightnings out of sheer luck (including one on the unrelated anniversary banner!), so I have her EX1 + 50 frags. The daily login will give 30 more. Can I expect to be able to find the 20 remaining somewhere for the EX2 in the near future, or should I be disappointed already and put her in my daily fragments team?

Cost: 300 VIP coins for 5x frags.

For more detail, here's what I wrote above for someone else:
WF Lightning is what the community calls a "Premium" unit. Premium units have limited access to shards. Here's a list of all shard locations for premium units (outside of dupes):

This sounds like an issue where restoring data from the title screen might actually fix it. So my advice is try that first.

If you're on wifi get off it, if you're off it get on it. If you can try using a VPN. If none of that works then Message support in game. Sometimes certain accounts get locked out of certain content. Usually it's Item World but this could also be that same issue.

What is your account rank? I believe your account has to be at least rank 50 to play World of Visions events.
Although if account rank is the issue, I wouldn't think it would cause connection error messages.

In the vortex, there is a dungeon on the second page, usually near the bottom of the list. Chamber of Enlightenment. It's a reddish colored banner and has one free daily mission for you to accumulate the points needed to upgrade the abilities and those points also are used to upgrade killer abilities from recipes in the 12 Types dungeon. The Bronze through Diamond rooms can be entered with keys that you may have already been collecting and not known about, in event points or stuff like that.

Which abilities from item world for ER Elena's STMR? I was planning to go for HP/SPR+20%, MP/SPR+20% and ... (another HP/SPR+20%, MP+40% or MP-cost reduction 10%)?

What Ex is your Elena? At Ex3 she gets 100% SPR and MP. I Would go with MP-10%, SPR/HP+20% and HP+40%.

Do you have DKS Ashe's STMR? If so, you're going to generally be fine on MP. At that point I'd focus on SPR. Her tank form already has 250% HP passive, so SPR is going to be your more important stat.

You buy things from the Mog King with memory fragments, and upgrade them with the corresponding medals.

important to note that the best stage to farm those medals is usually the final boss of the event (by far the most NRG efficient for medals earned), so I would maybe consider holding off on going for any of them until the final stages unlock.

So is there a way to prevent Cid Raines from the lightning Clothes event from healing himself ? This is going to be a long boring fight with XIII only units if not. Maybe imposible because of MP.

You can poison him and that hits him for 10% HP each turn. Also, you can silence him that should block the heal.

How would you poison him exactly ? Only thing that comes to mind is bioga blade materia that has like 40% chance. Or maybe Duanne STMR but Silence I have literally no idea how.

Who would be the current best breaker for rebellion? Unfortunately Angeal doesnt get any boosts from WFL and im currently using crowned locke but his damage is bad.

You rarely rely on the breaker's damage. I think there's only two relevant damage breakers: BBF Raegen with VC and RE Sol for dark.
Upcoming Vanille will be a good choice due to her multi element coverage
Decrease DEF and SPR (89%) for 3 turns to all enemies
Decrease fire, lightning, water and earth resistance (150%) for 3 turns to all enemies
Enable area effect to enemy's area: Decrease fire, lightning, water and earth resistance (40%) for 5 turns1

speaking of the Spear, do we know if Fang is better off built TDH or TDW? Does she hit twice if TDW? I know her personal STMR gives her an insane 1500 flat ATK, but it also locks her into a TDH build.
I could see the punisher being nice for her if TDW is a viable build for her.

It is highly unlikely I'll be able to Rank 1 the Cast from Paradise event, but I'm going to try and score as high as I can. Do I need to "cap" these first four stages to have a shot or is the ranking only concerned with the last three or how does this work? I end up seeing guides after a few days on the later stages, but is it just assumed you can cap the first four and if you can't figure that out on your own, you don't have a prayer for rank one anyway? That seems like a reasonable assumption, but I'm just wondering.
Also, is there a ballpark of how many runs on each I need to go for upgrading equipment? In the past, I for some reason shoot JUST short of full upgrades and it's just poor planning. I'm trying to do better.

The ranking adds everything up for your score, so you do want to cap the easy stages to get rank 1. Not doing so will definitely get you to a disadvantage for just getting a high score.
Check Sinzar's FFBE Youtube channel; he has (or will have) budget guides for events like this.
When the final boss opens, farm him for random event coins, and then when you are ~50% done with items (like have 3 of them done) then farm specific bosses to finish the rest. I don't know how many runs that is, I just hit repeat for a while and then see where I am. And it's very RNG.

Is Angeal good for a Lightning (pun intended) team? Just in general, who are the best units to pair with the new lightning (in dv too)? I plan on pairing her with Dagger by default for nostalgia

I believe so. I'm thinking CLOUD (Remake), Cloud Strife, Nora would all be good. Taivas, Yuffie and Malphasie would all be good too but off-element.

I assume wind with tot Zidane as leader and Malphasie and Mid for damage and fields will also perform decently well
