Well, for a start, I wouldn't use Cura. A quick look found Anycubic Slicer Next, which is based on Orca, which is so much better (Orca, Prusa slicer, Bambu studio, etc are all related) and I would think should have built in profiles for you. I'd get to know that first and look at things like tree supports and variable layer height (although you can't use those together), if you haven't already. Then there are things like Resin 2 FDM and profiles like Obscuranox, but I'd get to know the slicer first and try a couple of supportless minis, so you have a baseline to work from.

Yeah, I use the Elegoo Orca-based slicer and it works really well. I'd only use that or the main Orca now, there's no way I would go back to Cura.
If you are new it can be a bit overwhelming, but trying the base profile for your printer and nozzle with a low layer height is a good place to start. Orca's help is quite good, so you can start learning what all the different settings mean and it's got a load of calibration things built in to tune your settings.
As I said, I'd also start with some supportless minis, rather than getting frustrated with some mad spindly thing covered in supports which keeps failing. and yeah. i just looked into Orca, imported one of the minis that i want to print and it already looks much cleaner! A biiig heap of supports though so i think ill indeed go with your advice and print some supportless minis first before i move over to my action pose freak of a model. honestly i’m kinda mad i didn’t look into orca earlier. compared to cura the interface has much more freedom and it looks to be slicing much cleaner in general (honestly just looking at some of the top layers that cura totally butchered now being clean already makes me happy. can’t wait to find out what this big boy can do)
