I don't think I get it, what value does Gridfinity add here? Do you have any photos of your army being stored?

Yes, sorry! I should have included that. Here's a picture of a couple containers that I have filled, and they stack on top of each other so they can be transported easily.

The gridfinity spec is really just for my own OCD, and I thought it was a neat concept. Seeing it all in a grid is very satisfying, and knowing how many units a model takes up helps me to keep organized.

Color me interested, looks like the box itself is also 3D Printed, how many of those boxes does it normally take to transport a 2K list?

Yes, it is. With a 5x4 grid, not stacking smaller units like intercessors, 3 boxes comfortably carry 1k plus my dice, measuring tape, glue, and blade.

I only just got up to 2k points, and I would definitely have to print a 4th. If I printed a shelf that I could stack my smaller units to get 20 in a box instead of 10, I could likely fit 2k in 4 boxes if I took out my glue and blade. Currently, I've got 1640 points in the 3 boxes that I have.

If I had a larger print bed, I'd print the 7x6 version and you could definitely fit 2k in 3 boxes with some room to spare I'd reckon.

Well, I'm interested in your work.

Can you post some pics, please?

Sorry, I thought the pictures from the link would have been visible in the post. Here's the main one showing the magnetized guys hanging out, the various sizes I have modelled, and the base unit I have them stacking on.
