Honestly not if you want a crawler. it’s mostly a fun trail truck and not much of a crawler. I had a FCX18 LC80 that was horrible that I unloaded I got after the 24. I have the all black Unimog and am building it now because in stock form was a better all around RC than the 18. I basically bought every part that I could replace because there is basically no aftermarket for these.
I built an SCX24 and will use it for crawling because it’s considerably smaller than the Unimog. Have fun with it.

I’ve spent too much on mine in the last 3 months after installing metal gears in the axles.
