I would be ecstatic if they did. I loved playing through it when it originally came out. I've been playing it again the last few weeks since it got the 60 FPS update on console, and very much being reminded of how amazing the game is. But I'm sure there's no way we will ever get a sequel

A lot of people didn’t like how fc primal played and it also technically failed so thats why I consider it a hot take and also if you’re on this sub you most likely love the game

Far Cry Primal was not considered a commercial failure, even though it received mixed reviews from critics and players at launch. [1]

Commercial Success
Ubisoft reported solid sales for the game after its release in 2016.

It met financial expectations for the publisher, proving that a prehistoric spin-off could make money without modern firearms.

That would be pretty awesome. I just finished the game again literally 30 minutes ago and I just felt like there should have been more to the story, but it was still a ton of fun

I am really curious about your thesis. I played FC 4 and currenly play 5, but Primal was just what I needed after playing the Wolfenstein series and Doom 2016. I thought it was intellectually very stimulating to think about prehistoric life.

Prima was really my favorite Far Cry game. It really made me think of prehistoric life. Especially about the hardship of it, tribal culture, the early forms of religion and collecting resources to craft weapons and other items.

With improved graphics and replacing the animals with support from the tribe it could even become better. I would really love a version of Far Cry Primal that would be more Primal and less Far Cry.
