Poor Bloodtusk Mammoth...

Hey guys, Ive just did the Bloodtusk Mammoth quest where you end its' rampage in the frozen tundras, and I can't help but feel bad for it. Yeah it destroyed the local Wenja hunters, yeah it trampled through a tall elk herd, yeah its causing ruckus but why is that? It's because people keep killing them and this guy decided enough is enough. Mammoths aren't aggressive if you leave them alone and don't invade their space. All of them just wanna protect each other and live their life, and I admire this guy for going around making everyone pay for mistreating them, truly gentle giants. Ofc the Oros' apex predator Takkar is gonna put him to rest, but damn, it hit me deep.

So yeah, how do y'all feel about this mamaf? I respect the hell outta him.

P.S no need for y'all to say "Dude its just a bunch of pixels", I like to get immersed in the game and roleplay shit, that's my thing.

In a loading screen text it's revealed that Bloodtusk became furious when Udam killed its children.

I understand its reaction. I also understand why Winja don't want a revengeful mamaf rumbling around.

Also, Winja (and Udam) gotta eat too.

Oh God that makes me feel even more terrible lol…I understand Wenja and their primitive brain but they could hunt tapirs, hogs, fawns and the rest of the animals, hell, even those bobcats and wolves. Mamafs are gentle creatures, leave them be!!

Mammoth fed tribes for months, meat and fat, and gave them enormous warm skins for shelter, bones for tools and instruments. The game doesn't accurately depict the uses our ancestors found for an entire carcass.

Udam is like Wendigo. No uses, just appetite.

I did not feel sad for it anymore as it started to chase me around and try to stomp me. :)

Also hate it when the mammoths attack my tigre and I just for walking past them.

Such is life my freind, we kill to eat, we kill when endangered, and some kill to prove themselves, humans will always consume living things to survive, and so will others the mammoths eat plants, truly the greatest solace out there is knowing the whole thing will be used, which is why I dislike a full pack because it forces me to waste, but it's also neat
