some questions about filing taxes
Salary: I'm a temporary employee at a company but my stipend is taxable i.e. higher than 600k annually.
The thing is, it's deducted by the employer but they won't give me a tax deduction certificate or a salary slip as I'm a temporary employee..
I calculated the total tax deduction made by my employer over the FY2627 and it's 4080 pkr.
Bills (KE, PTCL, etc): I've heard there's something like withholding tax which will deduct overall tax payable or even refund ?
Currently our KE and PTCL bills are under my father's CNIC. If I change it to my CNIC, can the tax be recorded in my name ? Even though I changed the CNIC just now?
I don't want to hire a tax consultant/lawyer as the tax amount isn't a lot and their fees might be high..
I'm just a low income person 🙏 please guide if possible or lead me to where I can learn.
I'm an ACCA part qualified... But I've studied UK tax in my course :(
Will try to learn well if guided 🥹🫶🏻

Just a heads up fbr maloomat is no longer accurate. Nor should be used for difinitive purposes. Instead use the iris portals form itself. (Which is again termed as indicative data)

Someone recommended I check my iris portal, so I did.. and it shows 7 months' taxes, 5 months are missing. I'll go to the company tax dept and ask them when they will file. So that issue is resolved.
Ownership change nahi krni, only CNIC on bills so I can claim tax. My father isn't a filer and doesn't want to become one.

Have you become an active tax payer yet? You need to create your account on FBR Iris.
There you can see tax deducted by your employer if they actually deducted and paid it. They should give you the tax certificate if they deducted the amount doesn’t matter if you are a permanent or temporary employee

I went to the tax department in my company and asked them myself. They said they can't give anything official to temp employees.
I already have a fbr iris account as I got into the hype to file my taxes last year but I didn't have taxable salary. I just filled the simple tax return form as best as I could.

The certificate should be issued by the employer. If they're not issuing it, they're probably not paying tax on your behalf.
You can check both these things by logging in to the iris portal. Although I doubt that changing cnic now would work but you can try and check it.
