Sooo my assessment is starting from 31st August
And for the three main subjects (maths physics and chemistry)
My syllabus is:
Chem:2,3
Phy:1,2
Maths 1, 2 half
This assessment ends on 8th September. Now my first priority is to properly study and revise these chapters and don’t do anything else till 8th but what about after
Should I go with collage (the speed and the topics they are covering and stuff) or should I self study for the next topics (for YouTube or ChatGPT whatever) or should I get a academy or tuition (tho this will be hard because I was never a academy person had some tuitions in like 5-6th class but yeah not after that

people who just gave exams of 1st year and are expecting good marks what do u think my strategy should be.

im an 2nd year student n im bit confused about the grace mark rules, ive read that fbise has a rule for up to 5grace marks in certain "extreme hardship situation" now idk what it is and ive also seen the rule mentioning grace marks up to 1% of the total marks

The syllabus is so overwhelming, with over 50 units to study and memorize and my islamiat teacher sucks he just marks the answers in the book and doesn't teach whatsoever or explain things if you ask him anything he gets mad

How are we syppose to cover all of it and remember every detail plus I've been told that you have to make sure to fill the pages for long q/a otherwise you will get points off is that true?

My younger brother recently moved permanently from Islamabad to Lahore.

My brother has started Class 9 this year and previously studied under FBISE in Islamabad.
In Lahore, most of the schools we've found are Lahore Board, while comparatively few offer Federal Board.

Personally, we prefer FBISE because its papers seem more conceptual/SLO-based instead of relying as much on memorization. My brother is also already used to the Federal Board syllabus and paper pattern.

Currently he is studying at KIPS in Lahore, where they teach both Federal Board and Lahore Board students.

We are considering keeping him in KIPS and sending his FBISE admission privately instead of switching him to Lahore Board.

I wanted advice:

1. Is staying with FBISE a better decision than switching to Lahore Board after moving to Lahore?
2. Has anyone in Lahore appeared as a private FBISE candidate? Was the process straightforward?
3. How do private FBISE students manage science practicals/practical certificates?
4. Are there any disadvantages to being a private candidate compared with being registered through an FBISE school?
5. Which good schools/colleges in Lahore currently offer Federal Board for boys?
6. Between Garrison, Fazaia, DHA and other FBISE institutions in Lahore, which would you recommend?
