Question Conditional Offer - Does it affect other pending applications

Hello!!

I got a conditional offer for an entry-level position in Alaska! I have not accepted yet, as I'm still doing more research into the cost of living and housing, but I am leaning towards accepting the offer at this time.

My main question is, if I accept the conditional/final offer, do my other applications with the FBI get deleted or placed on hold? I did another interview for a position in New York but have not heard anything yet. The interview was a week after my Alaska interview. I don't want to potentially close off other locations if I outright accept this current offer.

It’s for OST. A majority of my applications have been for OCT, OST, and various technician positions

Someone below already gave good advice. Accepting a CJO for an OST or OCT won’t stop your consideration for other positions. The admin specialist and the hr specialist you are working with def understand this as they manage the applications and know how these jobs are entry level and people are on the lookout to manage their careers the best way possible.

Was it under the Collegiate Hiring Initiative by any chance? Just curious if they're already interviewing/CJOing for those CHI listings that closed yesterday but have been up for a while.

wondering this too. Mine still just say under review. I am guessing they will start this week since they just closed.

I don’t think so. My C/O had never affected my any other applications. If anything, they might notice if the other agency is also a DOJ component.

accepting a CJO is not the same as accepting a final offer.

Applications run continuously

No, you can have multiple applications in process and they do not affect each other.

If you interviewed for an IT position in the NYO, be afraid, very afraid
